“The documentary is exceptional. The film perfectly evokes the message we wanted to convey.”
Sumène Artense
Du Cantal au Népal
The journey took ten young people, aged 15 to 18, from North Cantal, along with their chaperones, to the other side of the world. Packed in their luggage were supplies for a ten-day trek at 5,000 meters in the Annapurna massif, along with bags of school materials, sports gear, and 700 pairs of glasses with corrective lenses.
This humanitarian mission was a great success. The team carried out vision assessments and distributed glasses in a school in Kathmandu, as well as in the remote villages of Koto and Phu, which are only accessible on foot.

Filming on the Nar Phu Trek: Overcoming Challenges in the Remote Himalayas
The Nar Phu Valley Trek, located in the Manang District of Nepal, is a hidden gem for trekkers seeking adventure in the Himalayas. It offers an exhilarating experience, with rugged landscapes, pristine villages, and a deep connection to Tibetan culture. However, capturing the breathtaking beauty and the challenges of this remote trek for a film crew requires careful preparation, skill, and determination.
Filming Services in the Nar Phu Trek
Filming in remote locations like the Nar Phu Trek is no simple feat. The valley lies deep within the Himalayas, and access is restricted to a limited number of trekkers annually, which ensures the preservation of its natural and cultural heritage. The region is known for its rugged terrain, high altitude, and unpredictability. Nevertheless, filming here has become increasingly popular for documentary projects, adventure films, and travel series.
To offer filming services, local companies and production crews generally provide a range of support, from permits and equipment rentals to logistical assistance and on-the-ground coordination. Due to the complexity of the terrain, trekking with filming equipment demands careful planning. The filming services often include guides who are familiar with both the trekking route and local regulations for filming in sensitive areas.
